11 time management tips to achieve your goals

1.) Wake up early.

Time Management

If you wake up early, you will have a more leisurely day than if you wake up late. Everyone has 24 hours in a day, and how we use these 24 hours is up to us. If you spend 10 hours sleeping out every 24 hours, you should think about it.

Six to eight hours of sleep are enough for a man. If you are sleeping 10 hours a day, try to reduce the time first, but don’t directly cut your sleep to 6 hours. First, try to reduce it to 15 minutes for a few days, and then to 15 minutes. If you directly cut your sleep from 10 hours to 6 hours, you will feel sleepy all day and not be able to do your work properly, so reduce your sleep slowly and gradually.

You may have noticed that people who are wealthy and successful in life wake up earlier and sleep less than the average person. This is because they understand the value of time and that once it is gone, it will never return, so they avoid spending too much time sleeping and prefer to do their work rather than sleep.

2.) Set realistic goals.

When you have a very large goal that appears impossible to achieve, you begin procrastinating and avoiding doing anything because you believe you have time and will do it the next day, but that next day never comes. On the other hand, if you keep realistic goals and break that goal into small, manageable pieces, it will be easy for you to do that small, manageable work, and eventually, you will achieve your goal.

Your goals should be S.M.A.R.T., which stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound.

3.) Identify the times when you are most productive.

Everyone is different and every time when they are productive is different some people are more productive in the early morning so they wake up early in the morning and finish their most important task in their most productive time and some are productive at night so they complete there a most important task in the night so now you have to identify the time in which you are most productive you just have to identify yourself when you are more energetic.

if you feel more energetic in the morning than that means you productive time is the morning now do the bulk or most important work in the morning if you do the important work or bulk work in the morning than you will be able to finish and do the less important work in the evening like this your day will be more productive.

And if you feel more productive in the night than do the bulk of the most important work in the night time this will save you time and energy and you will be able to finish the goal you have set for the day.

It can take time to identify your most productive time. Track your energy level throughout the day; if you track it for a few days, you will be able to find the times at which you are most productive.

4.) Spend time planning your day.

Time Management

Spend some time planning your day if your day is planned then you will not be confused about what to do take some time in the morning to plan your day and then first write what the work you have to do today then prioritize your work then work which is most important otherwise you will face problem write that work at the top like tomorrow is the last of submitting your assignment otherwise you will not get mast so this is the important task and

You should write this task at the top of the list then write the other important task like you have to pick up the clothes you have given to the laundry and likewise, other tasks now start with the most important task and try to finish it as soon as possible and put a deadline to that that like you have to finish your assignment within 2 hours and reward yourself if you were able to finish your work within the time limit. This will encourage you to do more work within the time limit.

5.) Avoid distraction.

Time Management

Due to distraction, the work that can be finished in one hour takes more than three hours. Because of distraction, when you are doing your work, you are probably distracted by your phone. After working for 10 minutes, you take up your phone, thinking that you will just use it for 5 minutes, but those 5 minutes turn into 50.

So today’s biggest distraction is in your hand, namely, your smartphone. You cannot live without your smartphone, but you can control its use when you are doing important work. Keep your phone in silent mode and turn off your mobile data, and keep it away from you so that you have to walk a certain distance before taking it.

And it is also important to regulate your use of your phone analyze how much time you spend on your phone and see which app you used the most and analyze if there is something profitable by using that application if not then why you are using it your answer may be for the entertainment but there should be a regulated time for the entertainment

You cannot spend 5-10 hour in the entertainment daily analyze your screen time and see what are the things that are wasting your time and be careful at next time and see what are the things you can do at the time.

6.) Stop multitasking.

You think that multitasking saves you lots of time but this is not true research had shown that only 2% of the world can multitask effectively so you think that you come under that 2% other 98% just waste their time and the productivity by multitasking.

Instead of dividing your attention and productivity to different places try to focus on one thing at a time it will be more effective for you and you can complete that thing faster if compare to multitasking so it is better to avoid multitasking try one thing at a time prefer quality over the quantity.

But if you think that you can multitask and you are more effective with multitasking then you can go for it my suggestion is to try both if you do multitasking try to do one work at a time and see the result and if you do one work at a time try multitasking and see which gives you better result the one which gives the better result go for that.

7.) Take small breaks frequently.

If your team is working and one team is taking a coffee break every hour and the other team is not taking a break and working continuously for 6 hours, which team will work more effectively? Yes, the second team, because they are recharging themselves while working, whereas the other team is just losing energy and not giving themselves time to recharge themselves.

As a result, it is preferable to take a short break in between tasks.

8.) Do less but more effectively.

Rather than taking on too many tasks and failing to complete any of them, take on fewer tasks and complete them all; this will help you gain confidence and move on to other tasks to complete; however, if you take on too many tasks and fail to complete any of them, you will feel demotivated, which is not a good situation.

9.) Create the right environment to work in.

Time Management

In the environment, your work plays a major role in determining your productivity so there is no strict rule to the environment so decided according to which environment is right for you some people like working in the open environment in nature so you can decide your place according to that, on the other hand, some like working in the close room on the table and the chair so they can work in the room so it totally depend upon at which place you feel good and more productive so choose accordingly.

10.) Delegate the task

Humans frequently take on more responsibilities than they can handle, resulting in overburdening and stress. so you can delegate your work to other people. Delegating doesn’t mean that you are running from your work; it just means that you are giving your work to someone to do. You are not actually running from the work because your work is being done by another person, but the point is that your work is somehow done.

11.) Learn to say no.

Time Management

If you are overburdened with the task and you have lots of things to do but some of your friends come and tell you to go outside then it is your duty to say no to your friend because if you go outside with your friend then it is obvious that you will waste your time and you will not be able to complete the task you set for today then ultimately loos will be yours so learn to say no if you want to get trained in the time management.
